| A NL 2019 kid committed to Bellarmine. Outside of NL 2020, the club is not very good. DCE dominates NL. |
Fu Roy. NL is stealing your lunch as you watch and this is the best you can do? Oh ya, none of the NL honchos played major college lax let alone pro. Just goes to show that ya ain’t got to be a pretty boy to rule like a Spartan!!!! |
| I predict a NL mL merge. Then the dCE crew will go the way of Trig. |
Madlax won’t go away. Too many hyper competitive parents that would never let their super star kid play for a B team. The club scene is what it is today because of that simple fact |
You realize ML has b teams at almost every division and they are all terrible. But the other pp is wrong too. CM has a viable business making a good living. His problem is he's a cheater and a complete donk. |
| What’s a donk? |
| Who owns Next Level? |
| Mitchell brothers |
| It is well know that NL poaches players from other clubs. They often promise spots on the team before tryouts and even offer players discounted fees or no fees to lure them over to their club - lots of that done last year with the 2023 kids. Pretty shameful and embarrassing for them - not exactly upstanding or honorable. On another note, lots of NL parents from different years complain about their flaky coaching staff. They seem to hire young guys who often don't show up consistently for games and/or practice. Lots of co-coaches (shared responsibility) or coaches who are coaching multiple teams. Not very consistent for the kids. Also, only one practice per week seems like a rec league and not worth the club level fees, but then again maybe you'll be lucky enough to get a reduced rate. |

I'm sorry your coaches are leaving for NL Cabell.
But dont worry, you can always play your kids down to try and win more Oh and it was Madlax who took kids off the 23 nl roster. Not the other way around. |
| What are you babbling about? Not Cabell and not talking about Madlax. NL took kids off BLC/DCE 2023 roster. |
| I know the 2024s and 23s had tryouts this week. Did they have good turnouts? |
| Got it. A kid can go from NL to ML to Crabs and a kid can go from NL to ML but a kid can't go from BLC/DCE to NL. Also, I thought DCE held open tryouts. Are you telling me they don't expect anyone to change clubs to join DCE above and beyond BLC? You have just verified the entire "The scam that is DC Express" thread if true. |
| I'm not sure about this past season but I recall 3 of the NL players from the 2023 playing in the WSYL went to the Crabs and 2 went to Madlax. The team went from really good to not very competitive. If they got other players to fill those spots it didn't seem to help their record. |
| At least 1 of those 5 went to ML first then Crabs and a 2nd went from ML DMV to DCE. All part of the movement as families and players look for the best situation for them just like the clubs look to find good players on their rosters. If they are dumb enough to discount for grade school kids, then that's on them and that goes for all the clubs. |
