Like I said: bigot. |
Y’all are gonna be shocked when the next generation is conservative as f&@$. |
Again, your facts aren’t facting. White Christian men make up less than 54% of mass shootings. https://rockinst.org/gun-violence/mass-shooting-factsheet/ |
Gen Z is infinitely more progressive. Very few bigots. |
This has been covered. Kids aren’t typically allowed to use private bathrooms without a “reason.” Most of us would be happy for our kids to do so. And how do you know it’s a small number? You don’t think a lot of teen boys are uncomfortable using a urinal when a female may enter the bathroom? |
They already are. https://www.npr.org/2024/11/07/g-s1-33331/unpacking-the-2024-youth-vote-heres-what-we-know-so-far |

Two boys in Loudoun county got ten-day suspensions for expressing discomfort with a female in their locker room. The ftm student videod them in the locker room, and they were the ones suspended. How is this fair or reasonable? Boys and girls have a right to privacy. |
As was said above, this is (at least partially) fixable. ADD SOME SINGLE-STALL BATHROOMS. Yes, construction is expensive. But APS builds stupid sh!T all the time. Cancel future projects and do this. |
Yes they are allowed to use the private restroom. Anyone can. |
Recording someone in a bathroom should be a lengthy suspension |
Which school does your child attend that has this policy? Those bathrooms are typically reserved for teachers/adults unless the student has a special reason. |
How many trans kids in APS want to use the bathroom of the opposite sex? Like one? Even kids who view themselves as the opposite gender may not want to delve into a teenage locker room filled with boys/girls. For those tiny tiny number of children, wouldn’t it be reasonable to grant them access to a private bathroom rather than spend millions (?) on Wilkie to lose a court battle everyone knows they will lose. It’s like religious holidays in APS, there is no correlation to the impact on actual students. It’s just: we are the most inclusive and progressive regardless of the cost for most children in our jurisdiction. |
A couple of years ago, the county actually made a change that allowed for students to use the adult bathrooms for this reason. A lot of teachers were upset because there are not a lot of adult facilities, there’s limited times to use them and adults don’t want to go into student restrooms for various reasons |
I think a school tried this and a trans kid sued (and won) for discrimination. Claimed using the private bathroom was "humiliating". These aren't rational people we are dealing with. https://insightintoacademia.com/supreme-court-upholds-transgender-students-right-to-use-gender-identifying-bathrooms/ |
