Political Discussion
I’m still waiting on your bomb shelter story. |
I don’t care what your opinion of Jan 6th is. This is a thread about who do you think will win and why. If you have evidence like poll data to show that Kamala is winning the presidency on this issue, then link it. |
Your electoral college votes aren’t going to Harris. Not a chance in Florida. |
Most of them "don't care" because they tuned out when the truth came out regarding what Trump did for three hours while our Capitol was being stormed. No true American with at least half a brain would still support Trump if they had taken the time to read and listen to the testimony Trump's children and closest advisers shared along with the digital evidence collected during that investigation. This isn't a partisan thing by any stretch. I will continue to remind the misguided folks that appear to be continuing to support Trump when one of those supporters actually reads all of that testimony and evidence and then explains how the typical economy and immigration issues are still what's most important in this election when one of the major party candidates is the same guy that failed the country to that level when they had the job previously. No Trump supporter can provide that explanation because there is no reasonable explanation for such ridiculousness. |
Fascinating. This Haley voter just cast a ballot for Trump. Not sure why you think you know more about our mindset than I do. |
This isn’t a thread about your J6 obsession. It’s about who will win the election, not why you think voters are not “true Americans” (gag). |
Really? You think she's going to lose because two conservative commentators offered harsh criticism and two liberal commentators offered mild criticism mixed with praise? Like Van Jone criticized her "word salad" answers (which is how they were describing some of her longer and meandering answers that didn't offer more direct responses) but then immediately launched into praise for how she did discussing housing which is also a strength we've seen born out in polls where a strong majority of voters now say they trust Harris more on addressing housing -- a key issue for a lot of voters -- than Trump. Axelrod was more critical but he also offered praise for her and he defended her against the criticisms of the two conservatives on the panel who are there to criticize her. Like sorry you think a former advisor to mitch mcconnell is going to offer unbiased commentary? Please. And then Jake Tapper said she talked about Trump a lot (this was just descriptive and not a criticism) and Dana Bash said she didn't "close the deal" with this town hall (agree she didn't but it's not her last chance and that doesn't mean it hurt her or even that it didn't help). It was not a slam dunk but probably didn't hurt her. She didn't embarrass herself -- she just didn't really nail it. She has another big interview coming out this week plus huge events in Atlanta and Texas and then her DC speech next week. All of these offer opportunties to improve on this outing and "close the deal" so to speak. I don't think she's definitely going to win and I don't think she's definitely going to lose. While this was all happening with Harris the main story about Trump in the news is his former chief of staff calling him a fascist. So... it's a toss up (for some reason). |
Fascinating. Trump supporters are even more stupid than we all thought! They don't care if the POTUS is a coward who refuses to protect the country as long as eggs are $499 a dozen. You can't fix stupid. Heck, there may be enough of those dimwits out there to re-elect Trump! |
Haley voters are not a monolith. There are a ton of vocal and prominent Haley supporters who have come out and said they are either either voting for no one (or writing in a dead president a la Larry Hogan) or holding their nose and voting for Harris. These people have all shared their mindsets widely in the media. So you don't speak for all Haley voters. |
You are just so persuasive! |
I never claimed to speak for all Haley voters. My point to PP was that counting on them to turn to Harris is a fool’s errand. |
| Why are people even arguing. Let it go. It’s a waste of energy. Just vote and we’ll all deal with whatever happens. |
I think Harris will win because there is no way there are enough stupid people out there to elect a guy who had the job previously and while on the job refused to defend the country the one time we were attacked on our soil under his watch. |
DP - there's way too many undecideds to know what will result in election to after it happens. That passions are glaring this high before we are close to finish line is ridiculous - at this point - whatever. |
Most were already in the know and needed no persuasion |
