So you didn't listen to it? Around the 1 min mark... https://www.huffpost.com/entry/tara-durant-black-lives-matter-protest-exaggerated_n_654143aae4b0ae2dc0b5a243?30l It couldn't have been that bad if she was able to get out the demonstration so quickly. |
She is saying she "absolutely will hit someone" if she has to drive through the crowd - meaning it will be unavoidable because they would not get out of the way.
|
We can all hear her saying she will hit them if they don't get out of the way. At one point during the call, the police officer on the line is calmly telling an audibly upset Durant not to hit demonstrators with her car. Durant responds: “Well, I will. I absolutely will.” I guess it's a good thing they got out of her way before she ran them over. |
| Please let that prediction be true. I swear I’m ready to move my girls across the Potomac otherwise |
This has been explained to you repeatedly. It's clear you just want to be deliberately obtuse and enjoy arguing. Anyone with half a brain understands what she's saying and why.
|
She hysterically says that she will run them over and the officer has to calm her down. We can all hear it. And then shortly after she meekly says she is out. |
+1 |
| I listened to the call and it’s really not clear if she is saying she’d be forced to hit someone of she drives or if she’s saying she is prepared to but it’s also pretty clear that she over reacted to a minor inconvenience— police temporarily stopped traffic to let the protesters go thru and she calls 911 and starts freaking out. I have no doubt if she started driving towards the protesters that would prompt some of them to push back in some way. Now she’s built a political career on being the kind of person who calls 911 because they see people protesting |
You don’t need to move. If they need an abortion, just drive across the border. It’s right there. |
Republicans will also make that a crime. This is how they think and they are trying to do this in other states. |
F you. No one should have to live anywhere where their rights are limited because some religious nutters are forcing their religious beliefs on everyone else. All of the women south of us will need to travel several hours longer to get healthcare. It’s disgusting that some people just brush this off. |

That map is strange. Isn’t FL most restrictive now? I guess I need to go read their definitions of categories.
I still can’t believe we are living this nightmare. And that our homestate is hanging on by a thread. Just one district going the wrong way changes everything. |
The map is constantly changing. Hopefully VA doesn’t fall to the dark side. |
Florida’s 15-week ban is still being litigated and the 6-week ban won’t go into effect until that’s decided. |
