Someone didn’t get their candidates. I’m a Dem and I’m pissed.

They would not have found this absent (1) a tip-off from a viewer or an ex-lover (likely how the VA GOP was made aware of her performances) or (2) she admitted to producing this content. She clearly lied to VA Dem party about (2), as this is pretty standard to ask candidates about.

I'd love to know the story about how the VA GOP discovered her performances. There's literally millions of people making this content for pay on these websites.

Shows poor judgment and puts any Dem who endorsed her at risk or at minimum in an embarrassing situation. Why do people think they can hide anything they have posted online? I'm a liberal Dem and think she's an idiot.

Same here. Nothing online is private. Nothing.

What could be different between 2019 and 2023? I can't put my finger on it, but I know something is different.

Women and girls lost the right to control their own bodies.

And let the Rs ban abortion?

Yeah it’s a huge price to pay but democrats have lost their minds and there are a lot of us that can’t take it anymore.

What specifically is worse than women losing reproductive health care? Or making major life choices for herself?

It’s no longer protected in the US. If Rs get the VA GA, women will lose rights.

Lots of other things. Not the reason I’m not voting for them but not having healthcare at all is an example, super expensive prescription drugs… list goes on. But reason I’m not voting for them is that gender ideology is extremely dangerous and I will not vote for anyone who pushes it on my kids.

So, you’re throwing all of the other issues under the bus because you’re big mad that LGBTQ people exist and are asking to be treated with respect?

I don’t care how she gets her freak on, as long as it’s consensual. Yeah, she was naive if she thought this wouldn’t get out. Her seat is one of a fairly small number that are critical and all the Dems I know are still supporting her.

Don’t buy into to whole “I’m a Democrat, but I can’t vote for a Republican because transgender blah blah.” It is part of the Republican playbook. It’s one of many narratives they have crafted.

And many in the VA GOP support a “100% ban”.

You can say that all you want. But that won’t change the fact that I used to vote democrat and will now vote republican. Whether I pass your democrat purity test is of non relevance to this fact.

What other issues? Democrats care about abortion but are no different than republicans when it comes to all the other issues I listed. No I’m not mad that lgbt people exist. They existed when I used to vote democrat so I’m not sure how that’s relevant. I am mad that gender ideology is being pushed on my kids. You can see them as being the same issue but to me they are two separate issues. What you think doesn’t change the fact that dems have lost my vote and the vote of most Muslims I know.
