She said “The outpouring of prayers and warm
wishes from so many in the Congress is a comfort to our family and is helping Paul make progress with his recovery. His condition continues to improve,” while Biden said “He seems to be doing a lot better [than yesterday],” and her son, when asked, just thanked everyone for their prayers. That’s not the language of a straightforward road to recovery. I cannot imagine what they are going through. This must be so terrible and heartbreaking for their family. Especially since, by most accounts, she is about to retire. They came so close to freedom and now, probably, things will never get to be the same. It’s so cruel. She quoted Isaiah in her statement which tells me she finds comfort in prayer, therefore I will keep her and her family in mine.

Agree. Very sad.

The police chief himself said someone opened the door for the officers. I’m sorry but this sounds like a walk back, not a correction

You know that there are devices which remotely unlock and open the front door, right?

The police chief very carefully said at his news conference that "someone in the house opened the door" after they knocked. It seems he didn't know at the time who did that.

Please be smarter.

I don't invent things in a perhaps/maybe way.

I'm wondering if the intruder disconnected the alarm system? Otherwise, ours would be incredibly loud once a door was opened or a glass was broken.

Nothing makes much sense. That's why I'd like to see the video released. Unless they have no cameras running?

The man thought he was Jesus, according to his ex.

You are not entitled to see video of the assault. Believe whatever you want to believe. You will anyway.

If this thread isn’t proof of that then I don’t know what is.

And security footage from cameras. It could do so much to squash the conspiracy people.

Why? So the general public can see the layout of their house, making them even more vulnerable, Use your brain.

Pelosi has already invited us into her home and her kitchen. What?

Lots of good ice cream in those Sub Zeros.

Musk lawyers must simultaneously hate their client for creating so many fire drills, but also love the firehouse of billable hours.

That suit is never gonna happen.

Discovery.

He linked to a press article, they should sue that site.

This quote is what really makes me assume his condition is worse than we're being led to believe. My hear breaks for them.

Just terrible. I can't imagine either of my parents handling an attack like that in their 80's.

Not a legit news source. A known fake news site and obviously unsourced speculation and disinformation and he left it up all day when everyone knew and said that it was bullshit.

He’s in his 80s and was attacked with a hammer. Just think how much it hurts and bruises when you hit your finger by accident. I just can’t imagine. Since he was hit in the head it will probably take a while to assess fully the damage.

What do you think would come out in discovery that would be damaging? Please elaborate instead of implying.
