Chris Whittle is the last person I feel bad for. He should go to prison for fraud. He screwed over many families and teachers in the end with his endless lies. |
You mean talk to a prosecutor in court as a criminal defense attorney… |
| The way everyone is focused on the wrong family is quite sad and hilarious. You keep bashing bisgaard mostly because of his new role as well as the “info” he supposedly knew when the fact was he left TWO YEARS AGO. His wife’s position never had anything to do with money rather with relations. The real focus should be on the primary two families who were the mouth piece to CW. If there was something to be learned or if you had questions they would respond. It’s funny how we haven’t heard anything from those two families(oneils and baldassari) who were the last to share information on a new capital deal and future plans for the school! If anything they knew everything. |
Well you would be far out of touch if you lived in DC. First, Banneker is a higher ranked school than Walls. Second, Deal would rival any MD or VA middle school. Lastly, WOTP elementary schools + Ross, Shepherd, Brent, Maury and maybe 1-2 others are far superior schools that Whittle, yet alone many nearby suburban elementary schools. Get hip lady. |
Why not? Esp some of the ones from the strategery committee, just like the students in the Operation Varsity Blues are mockable. Are the ones winning the prizes and getting into top colleges from a failed school all future scientists and genius self-starters? I doubt it. Are they old enough to be complicit? Just like in the OVB, yes. The entire thing is strategery by the capital investment committee (on which, yes these few families and a Bisgaard were privy to and made financial decisions shoulder to shoulder with Whittle, and, worse, represented the parents and faculty unelected) that devastated more trusting families of lesser needs, employees/teachers and vendors. Read the WBJ reporting. And no, you haven’t left 2 years ago if your wife is getting paid and your kid’s getting to graduate against odds and presumably with no fees. Plus you founded it, stayed 2.5 years to lead a “3 year total school” so I’m not so easily pushed off the real story here. They also had no comment just two days ago - neither one, to WBJ, that’s all I need to know. Look up strategery. That’s exactly what this is. |

The rule is play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
Becoming an overpaid HoS of a functioning school you e not had a chance to destroy reputationally yet, is not a stupid prize. Pretending your kids learned anything at WSS and dragging the entire parent body and teachers to the end of the school year by their noses to be then left in a lurch so your kids can pretend-graduate from a pretend-school to get into a good college, is not a stupid prize. It’s only fair some of these prizes get taxed or taken away in the civil proceedings, court of the public opinion, school boards or otherwise. |
Wilson is far more reputable than Whittle |
I would like to make it very clear if there’s anyone still in doubt that he’s not the only one that needs to face the court proceedings. |
|
Curious: Have the parents ever sued the school?
Because it sounds like there is a lot of vitriol |
Sued for what? There are already lawsuits against Whittle for millions and millions of dollars and yet no money left to distribute. |
| Be careful. White’s lawyers likely monitor chat boards and will not be reluctant to go after critics. |
Good luck |
For a sense of closure |
hahahaha, yeah right I'm sure his lawyers are pretty busy with other litigation matters! |
| DC has strong consumer protection laws. Not legal advice but the entire strategery parent committee is fair game to get sued. |
