Yeah, it's amazing how many PPs don't have the imagination to assume she'd be meeting someone like her ex-H's AP.

I assumed this —- or meeting the person hired to replace her or downsize her office. So when you have to be polite but what you really mean is “I had hoped to go my whole life without meeting you.”

What does it say in the US constitution that you're required by law to say 'Nice to meet you" to every person you meet? Just give them a stink eye and say 'Hello".
