I thought that at first, but I don't know. I'm not really feeling any chemistry between them. Maybe they'll just end up as really close friends?

I feel like we haven't really heard much from Lars. He's clearly building a friendship with Zoe, maybe they help each other the way Francis and Tony clearly are (McCarthy and football guy). But I don't know what Lars is there to work on.

LOL. I watched the first three episodes right after surgery on painkillers, so maybe that affected my judgment. But it seemed like Masha had a weirdly special relationship with it and then the staff was treating it like a personal loss to her. The whole thing gave me "Island of Dr. Moreau" vibes.

Just started and had low expectations, and I’m enjoying. It’s lighter and less serious than White Lotus, so it’s easier to watch. Nicole Kidman is super distracting in this character but whatever.

They didn't move it to California, it was always supposed to be shot in LA and then a week away from building the sets there was some sort of issue (probably COVID related) that prevented them from moving forward in LA. The switch to fiming in Australia was very last minute.

This show is awful! I stuck it out for the first 4 episodes (unfortunate waste of time), but have no interest in watching the rest. Kidman is usually great, but she is terrible in this, her Russian accent comes and goes. The premise of this show is absurd, but its biggest sin is that it is just boring. I can a handle a ridiculous plot if it is at least entertaining. This is not. Not even close to being as good as White Lotus.

Lol! She was affectionate towards the goat like a pet so she did feel a personal loss.
