Why do people get jealous when others have plastic surgery?

You're either insecure or you're in an industry that links your looks to your income. Neither is a very desirable situation.

Plus, so few people stop at one procedure. The dysmorphia causes one to think "if they just get this or that, then they will be happy...."

Except, they are never happy.

Lots of people get one surgery. Then stop. Especially nose jobs.

A lot of women want surgery but their husband's are against it. So they dont do it. Recent thread here where women blatantly LIE to their husbands. They are jealous that MY DH is totally cool with whatever I decide.

Kyle Richards is not my favorite person BUT she looks incredible due to her plastic surgery. I can see why people are jealous.

Does she? I feel like a lot of people who “look incredible” due to plastic surgery… really don’t. Like they have one angle that looks okay, but when you see them in a video, you can see the weird bulges from fillers, the waxiness from the botox, the fact that their nose doesn’t look normal… it just doesn’t look as good they think it does.

+ 1 especially with regard to Kyle. Girl, please.

I know how awesome I feel every day since having breast reduction surgery so I'm not jealous of people having surgery. I think some people get addicted to it and go too far but it's their life.

Botox doesn’t make you waxy. Idk when this myth will die. That’s due to surface stuff like acids.

Be more specific. You are saying nothing.

However, I have had a friend get upset that I did not sufficiently compliment her new nose job. I don't know, I felt awkward. It looks nice, which is what I said. I think she wanted me to gush, which is not who I am as a person.

If you are going to get plastic surgery, do it for yourself. Some people will criticize, some will be jealous, some will think it looks bad, whatever. Don't expect people to fall all over themselves telling you how hot you are. Do it for yourself or don't do it at all.

Wow you sound venomous and angry. You must be jealous. Way over the top reaction.

? I hope this is meant to be satirical.

I've heard that's one that has a really low regret rate - that people in general are really happy with it.

The Kardashian’s are the Plastic Surgery Queens.

Collectively the amount of plastic on them could make them a pretty penny at the recycling ♻️ center.

All kidding aside, I think they are all obsessed with it to the point of no return.

• Kim was born perfect.
Never needed to change a thing.
Now that she has, her face appears fake (huge lips/weird eyebrows/swollen cheekbones.)

• Kourtney looks absolutely 💯% naturally beautiful.

This is true. My boss got her eyes done during pandemic, then she got her breasts, then she started with the injections. Oh boy. Now she looks like she has two breakfast sausages on the side of her face and weird shadows under her “cheek bones”. Her eyes are a weird shape and now she’s looking into lipo, which seems weird since she doesn’t eat any food so I have no idea what they would suck out of her.

• Khloé has had a lot of people criticize her appearance plus her child’s Dad cheated on her in such a public + humiliating manner so I am most sympathetic with her reasons for going under the knife.
She looks gorgeous now.
Hopefully she does not get any more…..

• Kendall like Kourtney looks natural & beautiful - the same as always has been.

• Kylie was simply cute as a teenager - but had no potential to be as stunning as she is today without any major help.
She had very thin lips.
Now due to her many surgeries/fillers/Botox/etc., she has not only a hugely improved fave, but she has lovely curves as well.
If she had skipped all her surgeries
