| We don't. You don't look good, or don't look nearly as good as you think. |

I’m not jealous. I hate pain and avoid it whenever possible, to the extent that I’m a 50yo woman who never pierced her ears. Plastic surgery to me is a very expensive way to experience a lot of pain and end up looking weirdly artificial. There may well be cases of successful plastic surgery that looks natural and enhance beauty, but if so, they are so successful that I don’t recognize it as plastic surgery, leaving my impression of cosmetic surgery as visually unpleasant. People who choose cosmetic surgery make no sense to me. I am skeptical that they’ll be satisfied with the results, but if they’re happy with the outcome, then I’m happy for them, even if I’m also feeling sorry that I think they look worse.

Women who get plastic surgery think others are jealous. Most of us are not. We either don’t care or we think it looks off but would not tell you that so we are polite about it.
My best friend gets Botox, I think it makes her look weird but I’ve also known her for 30 years so she just looks different tome. I’m not jealous, I don’t care that she did it, it just took a while to get used to the change in her expressions. My SIL has always hated her nose, she finally got it done, and I’m happy that it made her happier. That’s all. |
No worries. I will get them lifted. |
See the poster before was admitting her breast are saggy. You use that to make yourself superior. Clearly discussing plastic surgery DOES make you competitive. |
And she wasn't asking for your help |
| You can seen the jealousy in this thread even. |
| Does plastic surgery include fillers or Botox? |
| ‘Cause you’re cheating. |
That's what I thought |
Your but-I-still-pass-the-pencil-test tits may be identical to those of the PP above you. |

All plastic surgery is not equal. Getting a breast lift or skin removal after losing a chunk of weight is very different than getting a face lift or injecting yourself with all sorts of crap.
The former generally is about people wanting to look normal, and how their body would normally, naturally look had they not been obese. The latter is plain vanity rooted in insecurity and changing your natural self. If it makes you feel better, knock yourself out - but don't expect everyone to think you look better and *definitely* don't assume people are just jealous. That's absurd. |
+1 Plus, so few people stop at one procedure. The dysmorphia causes one to think "if they just get this or that, then they will be happy...." Except, they are never happy. |

+1 Also, many people who get plastic surgery tend to end up looking fairly alike, which in itself is beyond weird. |
