Daisy Jackson makes her sound like she is Boss Hogg's granddaughter! |
Or like this lady, who was classier than you. https://m.facebook.com/SingingSergeants/videos/716278655725995/ https://celebrityaccess.com/caarchive/former-public-affairs-officersoprano-daisy-jackson-dead-at-62/ |
+1. I think dog or cow. |
It sounds Honey Bobo-ish. Just being honest. |
I don’t know, do you think Amy passes the Supreme Court justice test? Because we have an Amy now. |
| "Daisy Jean"? Sounds deep south 1950s. Bless her heart. |
I don't know about the others, but Daisy is a nn for Margaret because in French, daisy is margeurite. I personally prefer it as a standalone name for the same reason OP mentions above -- if you are going to have your baby go by a nickname from the start, it should at least sound something like the full name. Plus sometimes initials are significant and I don't love the idea of giving my kid a name where her initials won't include the letter that her name that we all call her starts with. It's just odd. |
| I like it! I will be honest, I probably wouldn't do it (I work in a male-dominated field and it has jaded me) but I think it's cute. |
I think the short -y flower names sound childish. Daisy, Lily, Poppy... |
Well I'm 40s and think of Daisy Duck. |
| I work with a Daisy and she's about as flaky as her name makes her sound. It's just not a grownup name, OP. It's a nickname. Name your child Margaret and call her Daisy. |
| My kids associate Daisy with Daisy Duck. Kids are still really into Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Roadster Racers, OP. Just FYI. |
|
I got it OP!!
Jena Jackson. or Jenna Jackson. Middle name not sure. Jena Renee Jackson? |
| For a Puppy? Yes!! Super cute |
