In Australia they eat something called fairy bread that's basically bread, butter, and sprinkles. So your toddler self was just being Australian.

I love the idea!

Then I slice up some raw apple and get some raw lettuce and raw tomatos and splash some raw olive oil on there with a sprinkling of raw salt. Mmmm

Hahaha this really cracked me up

I have found my 4 year old helping herself to a big globful of butter from the butter dish when it is left near the edge of the counter. No issues yet 😂

My dog has done this and it just means a lot of diarrhea. Joy. Once the dog ate a tub of coconut oil too (I used it on my hair, so he pilfered it out of the bathroom). Terrible diarrhea.

Honestly had an old memory come back to me from other comments. I totally had a friend eat bread and butter sandwiches.

I will try that next.

Raw bed and raw butter.

Putting butter on bread is some old memory that came back to you from the past? You've had one friend who engaged in this activity?

There is no such thing as raw bread. Raw bread would be paste. Do not serve your child paste.

Bread and butter sandwiches are divine. Also, little known secret, peanut butter sandwiches are 100% better with butter added.

Can’t agree with you on this one. Butter is fantastic and peanut butter is fantastic, but together they are much less than the sum of their parts. My mom and her Norwegian family all insisted on buttering bread before applying the peanut butter, claiming that otherwise the bread would be too dry. This makes no sense given the fat content of peanut butter, but they could not be dissuaded. If we were out of butter, these crazy people would put mayo on the bread in addition to the PB, which was truly revolting.

Lol. I am beginning to wonder what OP typically does with her butter.

Probably craves the fat. You may want to feed them more butter.

My dad and I used to make butter and banana sandwiches. Those are delish. My 2.5 year old also is in love with butter. I give her a slice or two of Irish butter occasionally with dinner and she gets so excited!
