Heaps healthier for him than candy or the cereal that you probably expected him to eat instead.

Butter. Raw. Like a stick of butter from the fridge. Peel back the wax paper and take a bite. The child is craving fat. Butter is pure, delicious fat.

That's just... butter.

Introduce him to mild cheddar or munster. Similar flavor.

LOL @ "raw" butter. It's simply butter. I guess I eat "raw" butter too, on my bread.

My four year old ate half a stick at dinner the other night. Four year olds are so weird.

I have very distinct memories of binging on butter when I was a small child. It was a phase that didn’t last terribly long but I have clear memories of making cinnamon sugar toast and consuming heaping gobs of plain butter in the process of buttering the toast.

For what it’s worth my brain grew very big and two undergraduate degrees, one masters degree and one T-15 law school JD strong.

Great, now everyone will be giving their kids sticks of butter.

One of my kid loves any dairy products, from milk, yogurt, ice cream, cream cheese to butter. He would love to eat whole stick of butter if I allow him. He always ask for a lot if butter to spread on bread, but I still cannot find one that are easy to use which is REAL butter. He loves the one from panera bread, those whipped one, where can I get those?

I try to think of it as "cheese" in my mind when my kid wants a thick slice to eat while I'm baking...
