Eh, I'll go with the flow. If it seems like 20% are unmasked, I'll take it off. But admittedly I don't want to be the only one.

That said, I've been going to the gym (unmasked, pre-vaccinated) since they reopened last June, so this is no biggie. People were never getting covid from going to the grocery store or Home Depot.

Well we all can see you are an infectious disease doctor totally trianed.

You do you and myob about others.

Trumpets always think they know better and love to control others. By the way your fat orange idol is a criminal nazi.

I know it eases your peabrain to assume that everyone who is more moderate when it comes to covid is a trumper, but it couldn't be further from a truth. My guess is that you've been isolating, barely socializing or going out or doing anything, to realize that most people who have resumed their life to a decent degree, are Democrats - especially in NOVA. You can tell yourself whatever you want to fit the narrative you've concocted in your head, but it doesn't match reality.

Yep, this poster is reporting from her basement with the constant name calling. Everyone ignores her comments.

Hardly anyone was wearing them on Georgetown waterfront. Less than 20% for sure.

Good, no need to wear them outside anymore.

+1000. Trader Joes, Wal-Mart and Publix have all come out and said no more masks. Look for others to follow soon. I will go out of my way to shop at stores that don't require them.

What a ding dong.

And how is that problematic, it’s outdoors.

Not problematic at all. I think it’s a great sign the vast majority of folks getting back to normal in this region. Red states have been doing this for months now. The Neanderthals, if I recall correctly, seemed to be ahead of all the smarty pants here in DC.

Lol we haven’t been wearing masks outdoors at all. Now the CDC has even said it’s fine. Yet some MoCo thinks they know better so typical. Can’t wait to move to another area once we hit a couple more million. This is why people with money are and will keep moving to states that aren’t nuts.

But I’m so scared!!! My Democrat masters have been telling me to fear for my life and now they are saying everything is ok. Idk what to believe anymore.

So many questions... Does this mean pools will open like 2019? Do we need to wait for announcements from various organizations before knowing what the mask policy is? I'm thinking of things like outdoor kids sports, school drop off - all outside activities, but required masking. On May 28th - do all capacity and distancing requirements go away?

Is it going to be a wholesale dropping of restrictions? Or will there still be detailed requirements for different categories of activities?

Feel free to point me to a website. I've looked at the Virginia state site and it's very unclear.

Add Target to the list of retailers who are dropping their mask policy!

I don't see why pools can't open like they did in 2019 when it comes to capacity and distancing. I've seen says capacity and distancing requirements will be dropped in VA on May 28th except for schools, public transportation, and healthcare facilities. The mask mandate has ended already. Your pool might decide to keep some restrictions.

The governor has repeatedly stated "all".

I was at both Target and TJ yesterday. I did not see a single unmasked person (in MoCo)

Same in Arlington, went to Costco and every single person except for one was masked, and just about every person in Whole Foods.
