Herndon announces partnership with Arlington to get access to ECNL

Talented kids from Herndon will get an opportunity to play at ECNL level, and Arlington will get a much needed infusion of talent that was developed at another club. There will be some upset Arlington parents, whose kids will be replaced by more talented kids from Herndon, but they will get over it [i]or come onto DCUM and throw shade[/]. I will say it is a good deal for both clubs.

Hmmm. You're trolling aren't you? Herndon is a good club, and I'm sure there are several kids good enough to play for Arlington currently on Herndnon rosters. But "much-needed" is a bit of a stretch don't you think? Which Arlington teams, do you think are in great need of a talent infusion?

So NMs players will go train with a different ecnl club than the major one he is affiliated with? Sounds sketchy AF.

Will Herndon survive losing NM?

Is Herndon fielding teams at ages?

They'll survive, but they will look very different.

Survive, yes, it may take time to get back where we were

A long time. The total futbol crew were largely responsible for Herndon's achievements over the last several years. Now Herndon did the dirty on them. Not only have they lost that coaching crew, other good coaches saw how Herndon treated total futbol and I expect most will want to steer clear.

In my experience, when a club and coaching staff parts ways in acrimony that spells many years in the wilderness for the club.
