NP.
No. I have a sulfa allergy and took both doses of Pfizer with no problems.

Anyway, he was afraid to take Benadryl or anything else because he didn't know what was going on and was worried more meds could compound it. We agreed if he got worse or had other symptoms he would go to a dr or the ER, but he is super germaphobic (even before covid) and hates going to those places, so he wanted to wait. Anyway, he woke up the next day completely fine. Not a bump or welt in sight, and felt fine too. I think next time we will try to get him J&J. Really interesting comments about the various ingredients that could have caused it, we will look into that.


Regarding getting J&J as a second shot - this is considered something that should be done still with close medical attention following the shot and at a minimum of 28 days after.
