There are sick people everyone. Only one side protects their own sickos. And it isn't the Dems.

Who in the party is protecting whom?

How long was the DOJ investigating this guy before the indictments came out — two weeks after the GOP President who pardons every criminal Republican left office?

The court documents detail a very disturbing chat on the site in which Verastigui told another user that “b***s” were his “absolute favorite.”

“Well like I said b****s are some of my biggest turn-ons and b***t,” Verastigui wrote in the direct message, per court documents.

OMG that is so gross and disturbing. I hate what the Republican Party has become but I don’t think this has anything to do with his political ideology. Sick people come in all forms. Just yuck. Glad he was caught.

So, Q has been found and he is in police custody?

And how dare the Republicans and Q believers accuse the Dems of the pedo rings. They are the sexually repressed ones and need to clean up their own religion and political party.

PP mentioned above he needs to seriously be on suicide watch. His world just came tumbling down.

There was a thread in the Real Estate Forum about a house owned by another Republican just like this - he had been to prison for child porn and sexual abuse involving his own kids, and the house was full of crucifixes. Major GOP strategist and “pro-life” AF. So sick.

This thread:

Read at your own risk, folks. This guy raised tens of millions for Republicans. He had been molesting two of his kids in their house in Nw DC, recording it, and trading videos online with other pedos. He had thousands of hours of content.

He only went to jail for 4 years. Unreal. The GOP is a legit mafia sex abuse collective. Everything they said about Democrat pedophiles is pure projection.

Wow, and this former COO of Base Connect who was buying and selling child porn from his NW DC/ Bethesda home was engaging in this criminal ring AT THE SAME TIME that Base Connect was co- sponsoring the annual CPAC conference- wow

I think there is something to this possibly that QANON is a huge deflection attempt by someone in R circles with knowledge of - and a lot of shame about their own actually Republican filled pedo ring

It never occurred to me that anyone would not only sexually assault or rape a baby, a baby!, but would film the act and share the video with others. Before the internet existed, I don’t think these sickos would have found each other. I’m thankful that law enforcement is rooting these people out, but my God, I’m seriously concerned about the psychological and emotional toll this work must take on law enforcement officers and prosecutors who have to view these videos in order to bring pedophiles to justice. And what about jurors who have to hear the facts of the case? It’s horrifying beyond imagination.

This definitely existed before the internet but yes it has gotten a lot easier. The people who kidnapped the Lyon sisters were creating and selling child pornography.

There are a LOT of people - men, I think mostly - who have attractions to minors. My husband used to work in part of background checks and there are a shocking number of men who are mainly attracted to teenagers. He never had to look at images or anything like that, but he said when the computer staff had their doors closed, that’s what they were doing - looking for evidence. Even at that glancing blow with those perverted people he interviewed, my husband’s world view shifted. I don’t see pedophiles everywhere like some do, but I acknowledge they’re out there. And disgusting.

Years and years ago - maybe the W years? - there were people who wanted to study pedophiles. They think it’s an attraction that some people have without acting on it and they want to know how many people there are, and where it comes from (I think the article referenced that not everyone who is a pedophile is themselves a victim of sexual abuse as we all kind of assume), why some people commit crimes in service to their perversion and some do not. IIRC, the GOP had a complete bird and shut down the funding, accusing the researchers of trying to normalize pedophilia. Sorry. I’ve reached my personal limit of searching for any article related to the issue as it repulses me more every passing year. Maybe someone else can find it.

Before the internet and the advent of modern technology including cameras and online-monitoring these predators would have been diddling their own minors + neighbor kids for decades with no one the wiser and no one believing the victims.

This has gone on for hundreds, if not thousands, of years. There's a long history of pedophilia in both the Catholic Church and in pre-modern societies like Rome were it was known as 'pedastry'.

Don't kid yourself. The internet just makes it easier to track and catch them. Had this guy existed in the 1950s do you think he would have been arrested on a 'rumor'? No.

Its not just men. Every month I see a new story about a female teacher (usually in her mid-20s/30s up to late 40s + married) who was caught having sex with 12-15 year-old boys.

The former Arizona teacher who pleaded guilty to carrying on an illicit sexual relationship with her 13-year-old student is expected to be sentenced to prison Friday.

The sentencing will mark the end of the sensational case of 28-year-old Brittany Zamora. The former Las Brisas Academy elementary teacher has drawn international attention since she was arrested more than a year ago for molesting her barely teenage student.

Previously released recordings of police interviews provided a glimpse into Zamora's monthslong abuse of her student, including allegations that she had sex with the boy multiple times in her car and classroom — once with another male student in the room. The two even sexually touched each other while oblivious students watched a video, records show.

I understand that accessing, viewing, trading the material in question should be enough to put this guy away but how do his messages come into play? WRT to the statements he made, won't his lawyer just say they were fantasy and hyperbole and protected free speech?

How does the prosecution incorporate the disgusting messages into the case? Can they be brought in to show his mindset?

Of course not- sick people (mainly men and mainly white) of all political and religious persuasions do sh&$%^ and sick things. But you do realize that this plot line is a key tenet of Q - that the Democrats are running a child porn ring. There is zero eve Odense if that - but when hard Cate Republicans get caught doing exactly what they are accusing others of doing, their “projection” looks petty suspect and I wonder how many others are involved. Sick hypocrites.

Of course, it’s extra ironic.

This guy was hardly a big shot, though. The PP claiming there’s some kind of organized GOP mafia is reaching.

It only has to be a big shot for it to matter to you? The guy is hardly some yokel living in Kansas doing campaign flyers for the county clerk. He was the direct liason for the entire Republican Senate Majority during much of Trump's presidency.

On top of that - is the House Page scandal small beans to you? Or do you not remember the fact that the Republican FL-16 Congressional Rep got caught in a sexting scandal with the page boys of his and other offices.

No, but he was hardly as powerful as you seem to want him to be.

And you remember that the page scandal took out a Democrat, too, or does it only count if it reinforces your world view?
