Because the cat has decided to start sneaking in and finding a spot to nap while I was getting ready for work. This is something new so I didn’t think I needed to check before I locked the French door. Of course now I know I need to start checking for cats! Ive had a house broken into in my life and it’s very traumatic losing family valuables that are irreplaceable. My DH doesn’t think the same way and leaves his valuables laying around. His attitude is no big deal I’ll just file an insurance claim. It was a total mishap on my part but he was acting like I did it on purpose and sent me a few expletive texts in the midsts of an extremely hectic work day. My office is just 10 mts away and I told him to come grab my key but he decided he’d rather just make me feel horrible instead. To top it off my boss came in and was hovering over me which had me even more stressed plus I had to stay a hr late. If my boss wasn’t there I would’ve stopped answering the phones and hightailed it home at our closing time.

So . . . you're the receptionist?

Oh absolutely. It’s only not abusive if it’s luxury darling.

Cat would’ve been fine. Ours snuck into a tiny coat closet once and we didn’t notice. He was in there all day while we were at work, didn’t pee anywhere, he’s fine.

Could you tell us three or four more times what kind of doors you have on your closet?

Because the doors have glass so the cat wasn’t in a dark closet frightened to death. I think I need to post this on wealthy people problems. com. Poor people just don’t get it not to mention the envy horns come out real fast.

I think most of us don’t envy a$$holes. YMMV.

OP, are you also the poster who got so mad that when your DH said he would make dinner but was late? You both have the same aggressive a**hole energy

why didn't he just drive to your work and get the key if he was so worried?

Does a deadbolt actually work on French doors?

I have a net worth over 30 m, I’m not jealous at all. I think you are a frivolous, mean #@$. I would accept it was my fault that my car and husband were unhappy because I made a mistake.

Exactly! People act so over the top over an animals “well being”. Going to have to put my cat in therapy now for PTSD..

Like I said, my office is 10 mts away. Deadbolt is just a deterrent.

She was already fed Sherlock and was 2 hrs late for her dinner. Locked in a huge LUXURY closet and like I said the worst thing that could’ve happened is she peed in there. Fyi my cats don’t drink much water because they’re also on a luxury raw food diet I provide which contains 50% water. Google it.

Dying laughing. You sound like a character!

Me too!

Anonymous wrote:I accidentally locked one of our cats inside my closet this morning. (200sf closet with windows French door btw). My DH calls me at work when he got home frantic because the cat was meowing. I told him I didn’t remember where the extra key was but I’d be home in a few hrs and the worst thing that would happen is the cat would pee inside my closet. He said he was going to break the door open and I was thinking wtf?!? I got home let the cat out and thank god she didn’t pee. I’m so bewildered of why my DH went so crazy over this situation?!? Plus he’s so angry at me for taking the situation so lightly. Fyi I have a deadbolt on my closet for security reasons. I was extremely busy at work and the boss was there so I couldn’t deal with thinking about where the extra key was plus I didn’t think it was an urgent situation.

What?

Few hundred thousand worth of luxury items I want to protect .. With workers in and out I would never miss anything.

OP, prepare to become a DCUM MEME!!
