What do you say when 1-2 hrs after dinner they ask for cereal or a piece of bread with peanut butter or a fruit? Do you still say no, your dinner is in the frig?

They rarely ask for more food. If they ate full big portions of everything, I’ll definitely make them a cheese toast or whatever — they’re growing. We usually eat some fruit together after dinner. But they generally eat a full adult portion of protein, veg, carb and many times ask for seconds and thirds. 7 and 3.5.

But what do you do if they don’t eat what you made for dinner, or refuse most. Then comes 2 hrs later and they ask for a piece of toast. Do you say no and pull dinner back out?
