Why does Anne Hathaway repulse me? Anyone else?

I can separate the two in order to enjoy watching her movies, but will avoid any interviews, awards, or anything off script.

I'm repelled by her in both movies and in interviews. Even if I mute her, there's something off about her appearance and body language.

Her name is Annie, peasant. Didn’t you hear the news?

No. I am only repulsed with all the Trump women, pornstars, spawn, hookers, con women, racists and Karens.

So, I am quite happy with Anne Hathaway.

Yeah it's her face and body language. As if she is the most disingenuous person I have ever seen. It's unsettling to watch her in action.

She is stunning and very young looking. Which means that ugly women hate her. LOL!!

I can't stand her. Something about her reminds me of my sister, maybe the theater personality as others have said.

Nope, don't like her either..not sure why but just don't, find her annoying.

Agree. She is beautiful

It's not jealousy or envy. I can't think of any other "pretty people" I loathe aside from her, Ashton Kutcher and Justin Timberlake.

Please go to her Instagram and watch the video she made on international women’s day... I had no opinion of her but after that video . I get it

Affected, self-aware that slips over into self-admiring. She’s the kind of person who looks at herself A LOT in the mirror. Yes, it makes her a great actress, but NOT someone you would befriend.
Celebrities have to shoulder this unfair dichotomy, maybe go in public less “annie”, it will actually help your image.

This is for you, PP. it’s so spot-on.

That video was HILARIOUS! Holy shitballs, THANK YOU!

I think she is beautiful and talented.

And very self-conscious. Probably to the point of social anxiety. (I seriously have never heard a mean thing out of her mouth though...)

That makes her a little "off." And the bullies pounce.

I admit I was one of those Anne H haters until I actually thought about it and there was no real reason for me to not like her. The media affects our perceptions more than we may think.

I think Jamila brings up good points, but no that's not what's happening with Anne Hathaway. She just doesn't come across well. Imagine James Franco on stage, presenting with Amanda Seyfried or Emma Stone. Works fine. but him up there with Anne Hathaway, it's off, it's awkward. Because he seems like the kind of person you can have a conversation with and relate to and like he has a sense of humor. She really, really does not seem that way. If I went to interact with her for some reason, right before speaking to her, my mind would be saying: I'm about to have a fake conversation. This person is not going to care about what I feel or think.

She over-acts. So fake and dramatic.
