| Thank God for Megan for pointing out how little clarity there is about what they will shortly be approving. |
| Corbett Sanders doing her usual pork barrel routine. |
| So the 1.5% minimum is based on attending rather than base middle school, so the kids who attend the middle schools with AAP centers get penalized compared to those attending schools with lower-performing cohorts. Big middle finger to Carson in particular. |
| Wow, Omeish, Keys Gamarra and Andersen are ridiculous. |
|
McLaughlin and Derenak Kaufax make sense.
Meren actually made sense wrt thinking about $ and logistics. |
| Missed seeing this. What is the gist so far? Thanks |
| They voted down lottery but are now deciding that kids don’t need to have any interest to apply to TJ. They will opt everyone in with the low 3.5 gpa and want every middle school to be a site for the sis/problem solving. They think these kids can’t even take a test at a neighboring school but think that those kids will want to leave their base school to go to TJ? It’s shocking how little respect these board members have for underrepresented students. |
| Wow, now they are setting quotas for middle schools within the third year! No focus on pipeline, are kids ready, are kids even interested! They plan to kill TJ, it’s just in slo-mo. |
| Question. DD is in Grade 8 now. What is she supposed to do. we are confused. What is the application process going to be this year. |
So they want home delivery of TJ on a platter for some kids, but other should move to different schools? Got it. |
| Pleaaaase someone tell us what is going to be the process for our kid this year !!!! |
| Omg they voted on the 1.5% from all middle schools already. Move on from TJ. JFC. This SB is so frustrating. |
Please explain. What is the 1.5% for |
| Thank you, Megan. Again. |
I think it is a holistic process with no test. 1.5% from each middle school will be represented. |
