Emily in Paris

I was impressed they had a black person as one of her office mates. Yes, France is very multi-cultural but that doesn't play into the stereotypes. The other scenes (like at parties and fashion shows), and nearly everyone was white so I guess that made up for it that way.

France is multicultural, but in a weird, fetishizing way when it comes to people of African descent.

I thought it was a fun mindless watch

The eyebrows on Emily are too much for me.

I know, that is the “style” now.

I did not like Sylvie and the crazy guy with grey hair who seem too old and out of touch to be in a marketing firm.

Agree that Gabriel is HOT. Can we get a show about him instead?

Yes, please. Or hook him up with Mindy instead and send them on a series of adventures.

Does Lily Collins still have an eating disorder? I agree, she's way too thin. Keep in mind that the camera puts 20 lbs on you.

I do agree! Don’t like that look at all! She’s gorgeous though

She has way too many wrinkles for a 31 year-old

That is ridiculous

The actress who plays her is Phil Collins' daughter. I didn't know that until I read a review.

I know...there's something so cute and young about them. Adorable.

I know it’s meant to be a cutesy/fun/stereotypical show, but what drove me crazy is that the main character constantly assumed that everyone she encountered in Paris spoke English. That’s the ultimate sign of disrespect for French people. There’s an expectation that you should always, out of respect, ask a French person (in French) if they speak English before you launch into it. No wonder most of the characters hated her!

I feel like she started every encounter with a Bonjour.

The reality is that most parisians do speak English...especially at hotels and restaurants. Touristy cities = English.
