I was braced for this and had the exact opposite experience in Paris (first time, I know maybe 15 French words that I learned for the trip)- we had conversations with a bunch of random people in cafes late afternoon etc. I found that the French for the most part are just going to mirror what you are giving. |
| I have been to Paris several times and have always found Parisians to be very kind and welcoming. |
| This is my favorite show to hate watch. |
|
I thought it was entertaining but cringy.
I think Parisians are similar to New Yorkers. Busy but normal. The only rude people were the clerks at the LV store. |
Best answer yet. This is supposed to be fun and entertaining. Beautiful actors, lovely scenery, dreamy clothes, great food and wine. Life is hard for all right now. It’s the prefect time for some light entertainment. |
I think it's silly that people are upset about the "authenticity" of the show. It's not a documentary. |
| I think its.a fun show, and think shes adorable. Shes petite, and I don't think she looks too skinny. |
| I thought it was a cute, easy watch. A little levity in this time of covid and election angst. |
You clearly don't watch much tv. Pretty Little Liars was hugely popular and featured a 16 year old girl in a sexual relationship with her teacher. |
She is anorexic. This is sick. The show is too cringey. |
Totally agree. It's SUPPOSED to be a showpiece, and she's SUPPOSED to be annoying. Everyone who encounters her character comments on it! |
As a New Yorker, I agree. I don’t find Parisians rude. Brusque doesn’t mean unkind. At least there’s no fake smiley BS |
LOL, right? My family is Hungarian and Czech. We took a trip to Slovakia a few years ago and it was a true study in "the customer is always wrong." I kind of enjoyed it. |

| Second season coming up! |
