Emily in Paris

I thought it was a nice break from real life and pretty to look at. But a second season when so many good Netflix shows get axed??!,

So, I admit I have not read the whole thread, so apologies but... does this show get better after the first two or three episodes? That's how far in I am and I'm not sure I can take much more. It's just so... insipid. Like, I knew it wasn't going to be an intellectual masterpiece but yikes. The beautiful setting is keeping me going this far, but wondering if I should just throw in the hat.

its' kinda like SATC. One of the main characters is the city and the fashion. I couldn't even tell you much of the plot, I'm just there for the fluff.

If you prefer highbrow shows, then this isn't for you. You got the vibe from the first few episodes. While the storyline evolves, the vibe doesn't change. It's okay if it's not for you.

Question: can you name 5 shows you really liked from various genres? I mean if you liked Younger or SATC, then you should like this.

It stays pretty insipid. I'd probably ditch it if you don't like it after 3 episodes.
