| Very sad. She had been through a lot. |
This. You people are going to IVF and late pregnancies before you think about L Ron Hubbard's writings on health? Pulease. I bet she didn't treat it. |
Pregnancy gives your body a break from what? |
Scientology doesn't take a stance on medical treatment. You're allowed to go to hospitals, doctors, no restrictions on treatment. L Ron had little to say about medical treatment. (He did, however, encourage large families.) |
Yes. I forget her name. I saw him talk about it on Oprah and he still got choked up. |
I’m sorry to hear of her passing, and admire their solid marriage, but nearly everyone knows that John is gay, so it’s a little disingenuous to say he was deeply in live with his wife (in a romantic sense). |
First thing that came to mind here too - Kelly’s super late pregnancy at 48 and Elizabeth Edwards. It is so awful and unfair. I think they (science) will establish a link between advanced maternal age plus hormonal treatments plus breast cancer. Ugh. |
| There was a photo of her from May of this year. She looked great. So sad. RIP. |
Hormone change. |

We don't know the extent of her medical history. I don't think she was the healthiest person. She had a long history of drug and alcohol abuse (she was engaged to Charlie Sheen) and didn't get sober until about 10 years ago after her last child was born. I'm sure that drug use until your late 40s does messed up things to your body.

In Kelly's case, she was a drug user and heavy drinker until her late 40s. That's a lot of accumulated "bad stuff." |
The 10-year-old was born almost 9-months to the day after the death-and-burial over her 16-year-old son. I'd love to see your reaction if you were burying the kids you had in your 20s. Grief does strange things. |
| Too bad Scientology couldn’t save her or her son |
| Yes, she had kids late in life, but she was also a heavy drug user and drinker for most of her life (from high school until her late 40s), which probably contributed greatly to her cancer risk. |
What does divorce have to do with this? |
