Fair thought. I also wondered that about Elizabeth Edwards (former VP candidate’s wife) when she got virulent breast cancer following two pregnancies in her late 40s/early 50s.

Feel saddened by this in a way most celebrity deaths don’t affect me. I always felt so bad for them after losing Jett and now this. Very sad.

I think that person meant Swayze's wife. Swayze died of cancer and he and his wife of 30+ years co-wrote a book about his battle before he died.

I don't think the link is age per se. The problem is to have a kid that late in life, you probably have to undergo a lot of medical intervention.
