| I always thought the "marriage" to Jon Travolta was strange--- but it sounds like she had plenty of her own demons. Maybe she was doing drugs and drinking all during her first son's pregnancy and then the disabled kid she had with Travolta. She just had a baby and sent him off to Hawaii to be raised by her parents? Doing hard drugs into late 40's? The public impression of this woman is clearly very different than the reality. |
Anyone who is a scientology believer probably has a lot of demons that led them to join a cult. |
PP is just mad because she didn't bother. |
evangelical = cult catholic = cult mormon = cult christian scientist = cult JW = cult muslim = cult orthodox = cult heck, all the religions and the zealotry sounding them equal cult like behavior. there is no need to single out a dead woman's religion. |
| RIP Kelly Preston. I still to this day remember going to see “Secret Admirer” with my cousin when I was 11. Had a crush on her for years after that. |
| Before we boo boo over Travolta, let’s remember he has a prominent role in a violent and misogynistic cult. He is also almost certainly gay and that is used as blackmail against him by Scientology leaders. |
It is typical. Over 40,000 women die of breast cancer just in the US every year. In addition to the thousands of women that die from late BC treatment Side effects like secondary cancers and heart failure. Unless you catch it before even one cell escapes it comes back. There is no cure for stage 4. The treatments for BC suck!!! |
| Two years is an average from stage iv, i think, advanced metastatic disease that is all over, but even then there are outliers. With advances in 3 d mammography many more early stage cancers are detected. (As well as more benign growths). Most women are not diagnosed at late stage. Nor are all breast cancers killers. There are more targeted treatments today. But it is true that it some aggressive cancers or those that have spread may return but no one knows when. One breast cancer specialist (who did not treat her) said she may have had a particularly aggressive form and/or may have been diagnosed in a late stage. But two years from diagnoses to death is not typical for breast cancer. Many women now live with it for many years. Some will return but others will not and they will pass away from other things. |
| While there are exceptions, and some cancers that continue to have terrible odds (pancreatic, glioblastoma) many other cancers are now being treated as chronic diseases and people can live with them for years |
The cancers being treated as chronic conditions are the exceptions- most metastatic cancer is deadly. |
This is just not true. |
Not true. Scientology is completely different. It’s a dangerous cult and this dead person played a role in the terrible stuff they did. |
She was boozing and doing coke up until after the birth of her last child. |
Yes it is. You just want to separate your religion while yours is just as cultish. |
Please. People in each and everyone of these cults have contributed to the deaths of hundreds, thousands, millions of people throughout their existence. And it still continues. |
