So who here went to the ballet coronavirus party?

She was symptomatic and positive a few hours after the party, and people at her table ended up positive as well.

So... connect the dots.

To top it all off, she waited before warning all the guests and people she had come into contact recently because she was afraid of the social fallout.

Her circle is mad at her, but it's probably nothing a few expensive favors won't fix. You know these people.

So she became symptomatic just a few hours after the party-- It makes me wonder if she actually might have been having some light symptoms before the party. Since she waited and only reluctantly notified guests of her illness, I could see her brushing off potential symptoms before hand. What are the odds that she happened to become symptomatic immediately after the party?

The house is nice, though. The curvy walls make it interesting.

I wonder what else she did during the stay at home time if she was willing to throw a big party in her yard....she got that 'rona somewhere..

Sensationalist WP reporting. They mention only in passing that she was holding daily backyard summer camps. Seems like the more likely situation for exposure -- being around the same people every day, all day.

Oh for Pete's sake. It's Roxanne Roberts. It's the Style section - DC's party page. This is what they write about. It's not "sensationalist."

I live in the neighborhood. People who were there are testing positive. And people are PISSED that she didn't tell her attendees right away.

Here's a profile of her house. There is one photo of French doors opening to the terrace.

I have a strange fascination with her and Candace Ourisman, who “founded” a concierge gift service. They seem to do a lot of flitting about, “curating” for Instagram pictures, and having their homes and families featured in various magazines. Ourisman and her husband (of the car dealership Ourismans) recently divorced and I’m dying to know the tea.

can we also talk about how all that fundraising effort was for the ballet as opposed to things that people actually need right now?

The ballet still has employees to pay. I hope that's what this money is for, though.

Did you read it? Several people tested positive afterwards.

I ordered something from her website, secretly gifting, 1.5 weeks ago and then last week I got an email that said the item would be shipping directly from the vendor and not from them because one of them (there are 2, Ashley and Candace) had tested positive for Covid. usually the item would come from the company, all wrapped super nice and not straight from the vendor. If you follow the other partners insta, she was definitely sick last week, which would put her Covid after Ashley’s.

I pay for good journalism, which includes good photos.

Neither of which can be found at WaPo

I asked elsewhere, when the rich go across the Potomac to get their testing done and healthcare needs met in Virginia, do their positives show up in the DC tally?

They should. It is based on residency.

Yes, did you read it? Rumors of positive tests are not exactly hard-hitting journalism.
