Mommy bloggers need to learn this lesson. You make money off preaching about your marriage and saying how you set the standard for 'perfect love' - you have to stay in the fing marriage. |

I haven't seen a President in my lifetime divorce. Have you? Even long after office when they're clearly living separate lives -- they still bear the illusion. Obama, Bush Jr, Clinton, Carter all still married. Bush Sr, Reagan, Ford, Nixon all died married to the same woman. |

Ron and Nancy’s love story is truly epic. Not fake. I will add that Tipper and Al Gore shockingly split (they truly spun that fairytale image). I think it must have had something to do with his alleged sexual harassment accusations from those massage therapists. |

| It's probably a publicity stunt to detract from the complaints she got stealing a quote from Maya Angelou and not supporting BLM on IG without pressure. They will come back together and make even more money selling books, podcasts and virtual teleconferences about how to fix your broken marriage. Their very religious crowd with marital problems will especially go bonkers for this because of all the shame that will happen if they end their broken marriages. They will tell us their marriage is now stronger than ever BECAUSE of the problems they had. |

Oh please, they're getting divorced. No one makes a public announcement with this level of embarrassment proving the last 15 years (and especially the last 5) a lie otherwise. I remember someone saying some stupid reality star like Cavallari? also wasn't really divorcing. Stop living in your fantasy world. |

These people dont stop milking. They use their relationships and traumas as material and they will lie about anything if it sells. |

First off, you seem to have a lot of emotion around this. She got herself in a lot of trouble for her lack of support for the AA community and BLM. For someone who makes herself out to be conclusive and who adopted a child of a different background it was big mistake. Notice how much people are talking about this and how upset you get by me even suggesting it is probably for publicity. People are buzzing and buzzing. More people are finding out who these 2 are. If they suddenly come back fixed I guarantee there will be plenty of buzz. There were be many skeptics too. These 2 are pros at manipulating people so they would know how to do a quirky, charming yet raw and messy video about it all and suck a lot of people in. Somehow this woman made millions selling everyday platitudes, stealing quotes and telling people things they have already heard without a degree or any real expertise in the area. It's fine with me if they are truly getting divorced. I never bought into her nonsense. I think even if they do get a divorce she will churn out more BS and find a way to profit and she will actually woo back a lot of followers and find new people. She knows how to sell and spin, that is why the MLM crowd loves her. |

She copies from others so this may be another time she does it. Glennon Doyle shared how broken her marriage was and I think may have said they were ending it, yet then she decided to save it. Her audience went nuts for this whole saving a messed up marriage. Then Glennon claimed she left her husband for Abby and eventually some of the same people and some new people cheered her on. She infuriated a bunch of people too, but those people moved on and new followers came mesmerized by her. When you are a good story teller you can put enough people in a trance they will follow.
Heck as someone who actually followed Glennon's blog I can tell you her stories completely change sometimes, even with the ending of the marriage. The timing of when Abby entered the picture has changed and I believe even who left whom has changed. Hollis will look to Glennon as a mentor and she will rise, she may even quote Maya Angelous again, but this time she has learned to actually credit the author...or not. |
