There’s even fewer Jewish coaches. |
This guy must be trolling us. Check out this racist dreck he wrote:

I know the Hyper coach in question, and love him, but seriously doubt he would agree your with your views on the club. Of course there is no room for slurs against blacks AT ANY TIME (or any other group), and blacks are targeted more than any other group in my experience. But the venom that a lot of parents have for hispanic kids and teams has been pretty breathtaking to see over the five years my son has been playing travel. Either way, it's unacceptable. But we are at Alexandria precisely because it is the most diverse and open club we see in this area, in both club composition and player selection/promotion. The families are tight across racial and ethnic boundaries. If we saw any of this behavior from a coach or a player, we'd shut it down. If the Hyper coach in question says it happened, I have no question that he believes he heard it. And contrary to what some have suggested, he very much plays by the rules and in no way coaches teams to play rough or dirty. But I also think the parents from the team in question would have the Alexandria coach on the coals in a heartbeat if they believed he said that, as would the club. On boycotts or bandying about any slurs to people from either club online, I am sorry, but you will understand if I wouldn't any my actions based on anonymous online accusations. The accusations leveled at both sides do not ring true at all to me, and I know both sides of this pretty well. The parents and perhaps coaches should be getting these kids to play each other more often, not having their parents beat their chests and talk BS online behind the anonymity of a keyboard. And if you are trying to stir the pot to hurt either club, good luck with that. These clubs attract talent for a reason. |
| You know what would be great? If some one from Alexandria would pick up the phone and make a call -- reach out. And listen -- maybe it happened, maybe it didn't. But take the first step and try and move this forward. |

Great idea. Who should this person from Alexandria call to listen and start dialogue?
Someone claims someone called them a name so therefore the club must take action, listen, start dialogue and... Get over yourself. Next thing you’ll suggest a March or protest on the office building. Maybe even destroy it if they don’t respond as you require. |
|
That would be great
And we can all share our feelings and thoughts Great idea. Great |
Be careful OP, if an overzealous, prejudiced and defensive mom with too much time on her hands, feels the need to protect her property values, this thread is history. But I am with you, this type of stuff should absolutely be called out. |
Premier AC is almost all black coaches and are some of the most well respected and liked in the DMV |
While I think almost everyone agrees, this is a very confusing thread. Three people have stated they were there and while they personally didn’t hear any racial slurs it doesn’t mean they didn’t happen. They all also seem to confirm that the DC coach was red carded for his behavior towards the ref and the whole team then walked out and forfeited the game. Repeating the information from the thread that was posted shortly after the incident actually occurred....🙄 What new action are we looking for?? |
Yeah it’s okay, people are fitting into a pattern. Being active and such. |
No you are right. Better to go with a he said he said stupid blog than actually have a conversation. Especially when both coaches names are known. Doesn't help either organization. |
You sound dumb and ignorant. Why not just make a simple call and settle the problem. You're probably a racist and should spend your "precious" time educating yourself on how to be a decent human being. |
Hey, I think your little d*** is showing! |
Okay so this is call an “ad hominem” and it’s actually also kinda a strawman. Anyways, yeah I totally back you up now! |
| The thing I find odd is that it doesn't seem that the club has made any substantive response to these particular allegations. I wish they would - either 1) we investigated thoroughly and determined the allegations were unsubstantiated; or 2) we determined the allegations were valid and took X, Y, and Z action. |
