Alexandria needs to be held accountable

Funny thing is, people of African descent probably aren't even the main focus of his learned hate. Racial dynamics take different twists in other parts of the world. But you should have NO trouble believing that it happened.

So according to you, the coach is racist because he is Serbian. Do you see the problem with your reasoning?

What are you talking about? Do you read anything or do you just jump to your racist minded dribble.

No one was called a monkey, where did you even hear this? This happened months ago and you are all ready now to fire and ban someone for something you want to believe someone said because you read some nonsense in a forum.

This isn't hard to find from ASA's post. That's the accusation. Sorry you want to argue about playing style. Or maybe you want to talk about how the team was "mostly hispanic". Or maybe you can just go full Foxnews and pick apart every aspect of his life. Or you could just focus on the one thing that matters.

An assertion doesn’t mean fact. Again, both sides have their position.

Personally, if any pejorative was used, there probably would’ve been a fight. There may have been some “f you” back and forth, but usually a slur results in a swing. And if parents heard it, they would’ve made a LOT more noise about it

So the black guy wasn't angry enough? Y'all beyond help.

Seeing more anger on Facebook about it happening, than it actually happening

“Stop trying to rationalize hate” after “could these posts have gone more white?” Okay racist, or is this one of those you can’t be racist things?

Yes, really broad minded of you to categorize a whole line of thinking in terms of color. Or have I gone too white in pointing that out? Grow up and broaden your own mind if you are telling others to broaden theirs. I know everybody involved here and really like the Hyper coach. But if you don't know what you're talking about, it is probably best to STFU and focus on people and situations you know.

Thanks Mr " I don't see color". Thanks for dropping the "I know black people" and "I've got a black friend" lines. Any other gaslighting tropes you want to hit?

Thanks for giving quotes by making up quotes.

If he takes a swing, your dumb @ss would be on here pontificating about how he should be more mature, violence isn't the answer, etc. Of course, this is after you call the police and get him beaten and arrested.

Doesn't swing, then it didn't happen.

People.....The coach in question is Serbian. He grew up in a racialized culture that rivals the American south in the early 20th century. Racial/tribal hatred is normalized to a degree that even most Alexandria parents might find shocking. It's a bit better now, but in the 90s when this guy grew up?

Yeah no prejudice here.

Funny thing is, people of African descent probably aren't even the main focus of his learned hate. Racial dynamics take different twists in other parts of the world. But you should have NO trouble believing that it happened.

At least now we know the racism by some here is at least one way, possibly two.

Breaking news, white guy cries reverse racism. Whole world weeps.

I never heard any racial remarks, but it was loud and it certainly possible that there were but I never heard any.

I did see the DC Hyper go bananas towards the ref and the famously overpaid Tommy Parks had to physically separate the dc hyper coach from the ref. I was sure he was going to hit the ref. DC Hyper coach got a red card, kicked out of the building and the entire team walked and forfeited with about 3 minutes left.

Ok. So two people who were actually there have both said there were no racial remarks or slurs stated or heard. Seems like a non-story as far as race goes, so posters that are race baiting just stop it and go to one of the other many forum topics on that subject please. Meanwhile, the DC Hyper coach sound generally like a decent guy but has an anger management problem and doesn’t like to play by the rules. That about sum it up?

Make that 3 people that didnt hear anything. I too was on the adjoining court as my daughter was playing. It was heated but we were there and heard nothing. The DC Hyper coach did in fact storm the court and have to be restrained. Imagine a youth soccer tournament and having to restrain a coach from hitting the referee. The poor guy who is there working was afraid for his life as the venom that was being directed at him was inexcusable.

If you want to believe some facebook post go ahead. Non one else heard what is being claimed. Old story already but keep trying to make something out of a coach gone wild for calls that didnt go his way

Boycott Alexandria Soccer I dont care about the hispanic coach or whoever but you DON'T make a monkey racial slur with everything going on. Blacks are targeted more than any other race. How many black coaches does Alexandria have? My point exactly

There are very few black coaches in the DMV.

I am a PP who was there and stated I didn’t hear anything. HOWEVER, I still believe it could have been possible things were said. It was super loud in there. I could barely hear what the person next to me was saying.

This was on court 3. I was sitting by court 4 as I had been watching the girls match that was on court 4 and then when it finished I turned my attention to court 3. There was a big spectator crowd. I was sitting with ASA parents, but not parents of the boys team.

I have no idea what the coaches said, the ref or most of the spectators. I did see the DC Hyper coach enter the court and get right up in the refs face and Tommy Parks cone running from his tent to separate them. There were tons of boos. Not sure who they were booing. Then the DC Hyper team walked.

Sorry, it was on court 4 and I was sitting by court 5.
