You just made all of that up out of your butt.

“All we want to know is why you’re in here and who gave you the gate code. That’s all we need to know,” the man said.

What fell out of your butt is the idea that HOA Harry had a right to know or ask.

Our last house was in a gated community and it was not at all uncommon to put "Gate Code 12345" in the shipping instructions or on line 2 of the address when ordering online.

Was it against HOA policy? Yes.

Did I or any of my neighbors care? No.

Did we have a crazy, racist HOA president like this? Thankfully, no.

We had a gate attendant from 9-4 M-F. If someone needed in before or after or the weekends, you had to buzz them in or give them the code. No one was secretative about the code at all.

My neighbor once sent out party invites to 50 people with the gate code on them!

Honestly, the amount of cameras in that community would make any wouldbe burgular think twice.

Even with our lax gate code rules, we had zero package thefts or any crime in the community.

Well, only if you attribute everything to racism.

You don’t have to attribute everything to racism to see the problem here. Its clearly a race/class issue.

Hopefully you realize that videos like these are used by the media to create division. For example, nobody cares about the video of a white cop shooting a white guy

Wrong. The reason the videos get used is because the white guy usually does not get charged no matter how terrible the situation. White on which crime - person gets charged. Black on black crime - person gets charged. Black on white crime - person get charged. White on black crime - NOPE!

I wonder how many of the "but the driver could've answered questions" are militantly protesting having to wear masks in indoor and crowded outdoor spaces.

Everyone in that community has the right to know if giving out the code is against the bylaws. It's pretty simple, when you move into a HOA you sign the bylaws and can be expected to follow them.

The HOA bylaws give you the right to commit false imprisonment? Interesting.

The driver didn’t sign those bylaws.

Can you people even hear yourselves?

Agreed. Who the hell are these people who think they can detain other people? Holy F! What a bunch of raging wannabes these white assholes are. I would not have been as calm. Why isn't the driver calling the police although it is very good the driver is on facebook live. He deserves a raise. What a great job he did.

Also look at how the white guys lie and try to say that this guy was threatening them. They are trying to prep the police for a violent response. These guys derserve to be arrested and sued. Asswipes!

I think we already have division. News flash: Reporting that reflects reality is not “creating “ anything. It’s reporting what’s already here.

Then watch where the driver drops off the package and contact the owner of the home. There's no reason to involve the driver in this unless you're trying to play the hero in a (racist) fantasy.

An even bigger question: Mr. Miller called the police while he was being harassed. Why didn’t they come?

We’d know if he would have said so. Instead he wanted to be a "victim"

Hey, asshole. He wanted to be able to do his job without sharing customer information that he had no obligation to provide with some self-appointed vigilantes.

Would you like the delivery driver to let some randos on the street know the next time they are delivering expensive electronics to your house?
