To be clear, this is a bellwether. We are on our own for the November elections. The SCOTUS will be partisan to the end on keeping Trump in office.

Dem Governors will need to become mini Trumps and just start flouting the courts, if necessary, to protect life and the right to vote. Evers needs to call the WI Supreme Court’s bluff. The court has no ability to keep the election polls staffed and open tomorrow.

I am in Wisconsin. Luckily, I got my absentee ballot mailed back a few weeks ago, but many people I know requested theirs last week or the week before and still have not even received their ballot. Meaning that there’s no way they will be able to vote tomorrow. It is an atrocity.

So the Federal Government and the State Government have declared states of emergency, and somehow the courts are able to supercede that and force people to vote in a pandemic.

Wow that’s terrible. I’m also in Wisconsin and also mailed my absentee ballot in weeks ago. My husband finally requested his last week (after I kept nagging him about it and he kept saying the election will be postponed don’t worry!). He got it in the mail 2 days after his request and sent it back in that same day. I was actually really impressed they sent it out so quickly. What county are you in that people have been waiting weeks to get theirs?? They need to complain, make a ruckus, as much as they can from a safe distance...

+1. In my small town of 26,000 in Wisconsin there’s only 1 polling place open. I’m so glad I voted absentee but so upset for those who have basically had their voting rights taken away. This is an atrocity.

There are five polling places open in Milwaukee. FIVE. For a city of nearly 600k. That also has a mayoral election on top of the SCOWI race and Pres primary.
