Thankfully we had my mom and dad with us for the first year of both babies. DH encouraged me to also outsource chores and I resisted for a long time because I was a SAHM. He was the one who explained to me that he made a good amount of money and my job was to hire whatever domestic help that was required to make our lives easier. I stopped being a martyr because being a martyr is a self defeating mindset which women needlessly embrace..

Any problem that can be solved by money is not a problem but just an expense.

Your DH does not love you or the kids less. He wants what is best for all of you. He is willing to make a financial sacrifice for it. Applaud him because he is doing this for the family. He is asking you to put the ad because he acknowledgea that you are the SME.
