Is This Assault I Should Pursue?

I would not report.

You should have slapped him in the face. Contacting the police may result in you being professionally but when you leave, the jokes won't stop for months. It could also result in them getting their jollies by having you do a re-enactment. Best dealt with by you confronting him at the time and letting your H warn him to stay away.

I also thought this, too.

The cops will laugh their asses off for eternity about this.

No point telling the wife, she won't believe you. Just file a report and leave it alone. He will no doubt do it to someone else (or has already) and if women report him, there'll be a trail.

So Jim’s wife can read it. Small chance, but still a chance.

Yeah, what is that?

It is the sorority girl equivalent of “frat boy sorta way”.

I don’t know what that means either.

I think that’s the point
No one knows what it means
But it’s provocative, gets the people goin

Well, don't forget, she also gave him the nod. We all know what that means. (J/k - this has to be made up.)

He misinterpreted your smile OP. Don't do this to him again, it would have been best if your dh handled it then
