Overwhelmed- any advice for a fellow mom?

Please, There are a lot of horrific things in the world but it does not mean what OP went through is not traumatic for her and her children. It is ok for her to be overwhelmed.

OP, my advice is to try and give your body some time to destress. More sleep, nourishing foods, vitamins and supplements etc. Try and exercise or meditate. Turn off the news and electronics. Say no to social obligations or reach out to friends to take your kids to various activities etc. Hire some cleaners to clean your house. Outsource chores for some time.
