As usual, this is all some major wishful thinking on the part of Democrats. Americans are sick to death of your absurd antics.

That represents the views of 19 Republicans, not all Republicans.

Democrats hold 45 Senate seats. Only 67 votes are needed to sustain impeachment. If 19 Republicans are already turning on Trump do the math. 11 Republicans voted against Trump yesterday to over turn Trump's fictional emergency declaration. I think as evidence trickles out a few more Republicans will turn. That's why there are hearings.

You are confused. The 19 Republicans in the op-Ed cited above are not against Trump. Quite the opposite - they agree that nothing illegal occurred.

Still waiting for a Trumpster to explain why only 19 out of 198 signed that op ed if Trump did nothing wrong.

If and when they are convinced they will attempt to show that they have some steel in their backbones but it will only be to get Pence into the Oval Office before the election. Moderate republicans like me who can't stomach and won't vote for Trump will vote for Pence over some like Warren.

Even if Pence asked the Ukranian President the status of the investigation on Biden while in Poland over the summer?

If things are that bad, it means Pence will be out too, because Trump made him cancel plans to talk to Ukraine’s President and you can imagine how those conversations went.

Would you be OK with Pelosi holding down the fort until 2020? I imagine this will be very close to the election and you won’t have to suffer her for long.

The real question is who to chose as Republican candidate. It has to be someone who has kept their distance from Trump.

Please explain how 2/3 of the Senate will convict?

The GOP will NOT vote to remove Pence and make Pelosi POTUS. The absolute best outcome—I think—is to impeach Trump in the House, but not in the Senate. This should weaken Trump and the GOP sycophants before 2020.

If the Senate turns on Trump, you can bet the entire administration will go. It’s all or nothing.

That's fine. The independents will likely not go for Pence and that's what matters. Pence is too conservative for most moderates in this country.

You guys, Fox News is FREAKING OUT about this.

“I don’t see how they don’t impeach,” a former West Wing official told me today. “This could unwind very fast, and I mean in days,” a prominent Republican said.

This morning, Sean Hannity told friends the whistle-blower’s allegations are “really bad,” a person briefed on Hannity’s conversations told me.

And according to four sources, Fox Corp CEO Lachlan Murdoch is already thinking about how to position the network for a post-Trump future.

“It’s management bedlam,” a Fox staffer told me. “This massive thing happened, and no one knows how to cover it.”

I am as anti-Trump as you can get, but I really don't know how much creadance I would give to a political article on Vanity Fair. It's a fluff magazine.

Was this reported elsewhere?

Well, asking about the status is no where near as bad as pressuring to start the investigation. I really don't like Pence, either. But, Warren is too progressive, and I don't think she can win.

Depends what Pence said to Zelenskyy in Poland.

Stop misspelling his name. It’s “Zelensky”.

Is it messing up your auto search function and making you work too hard?

Um, it's literally spelled "Zelenskyy" on the official English language version of the President of Ukraine's website: https://www.president.gov.ua/en/president/biografiya

The correct spelling is in the Cyrillic, not the Latin, alphabet and Zelensky/Zelenskiy/Zelenskyy can all be correct depending on what conventions of transliteration you're using. This is not an argument worth having.

Gabe Sherman’s reporting took down Bill O’Reilly and Roger Ailes, but feel free to doubt this.

No, it just makes me SMH at how poorly you spell. Kind of sad.
