The people who actually professionally study and treat mental illness disagree with your opinion about gender. But don't let that stop you. |
Every student is issued a unique ID number. So...gender and race designations seems unnecessary for this particular purpose. |
Exactly because 2 people are ever born on the same day
|
While no dog in what is to these eyes a point less fight, most professionals dont actually weigh in on the issue due to the toxicity and delicacy. |
NP, you really are a moron with that dumbass response. |
Unless the numbers get mixed up and these are numbers assigned to the kids, they are looking for ways to identify the ACTUAL KID, not the id ASSIGNED TO the kid so if the number assigned to Dolly, M was accidentally mixed up mid-year with Dolly X ...there are actual ways to distinguish them based on personal identity not MCPS identification
|
Ridiculous. You can also have two M kids, born on the same day, who have the same name. That’s no reason to randomly add in another Gender category. |
That's not true at all. |
Are you saying that we should have another student category for extraterrestials? |
Ha ha. |
That’s not true. |

Why can't there be boys who feel like they imagine girls feel, and girls who feel like they imagine boys feel? Why can't there be every kind of boy and every kind of girl? Why are boys who feel like girls "really girls"? Why aren't they really boys who don't feel the way society says stereotypical boys feel? I seriously don't get this issue. I don't think it's liberal or accepting to have a boy cut off his penis because he doesn't think he feels like a 'real' boy on the inside. Bizarre.
It's especially nonsensical for children, who are thinking and feeling all kinds of crazy stuff until the dust settles. I wanted a tail when I was a kid. Should I have demanded I be treated like a monkey? |
| I think the best thing for the county to do would be having staff professionally trained and available to talk to kids who are at a very confusing crossroad. This path seems to be more pandering than trying to be actually helpful. |
Good news! There can! And there can ALSO be people who are transgender or non-binary. |
