You know, I didn't mind them.

What upset me was how he was treated - being shipped off to Ohio and basically raped.

It was wrong. He has a good heart

Um, that was the point -- he sexually assaulted women and then it happened to him.

I get that. But A-Train ran through a poor woman, Homelander killed a plane load of people, and stretch boy is a homophobic hypocrite.

It would be just as bad if they shut Starlight up in a windowless cave with no access to light for the rest of her light. Putting him in flyover with no water access just seemed wrong.

He does have water access, he’s by Lake Erie.

They didn’t put him out there because he did something they thought was immoral, they put him out there because he became a liability to the company. They could cover up the plane; they can’t cover up him stealing a dolphin from a corporation that paid a lot of money to have his endorsement.

He stole a single dolphin from SEAWORLD omg, marshal the troops.

Please. Maybe if he had conjured a wave to drown an entire town - sure. Seaworld lost one of half a dozen trained aquatic rats? No.

You are thinking from a morality standpoint. You need to think from a business standpoint.

Other businesses are not going to pay for endorsements if they believe the Supes may change their mind and turn against them. If A Train had suddenly said the sneakers he is paid to endorse sucked, he would also be canned. Employers don’t care about their employees feelings, they care about the bottom line.

What’s with the defense of Deep? He’s a seriously messed up guy who deserves what has happened to him. I’m guessing everyone else will also get what is coming to them at some point. If justice was served to Homelander this season, there would be no reason to have season 2 and the series would end. It’ll come eventually. And A Train has it even worse than Deep, his gf is dead and he had a massive heart attack.

He can swim and talk to fish. With modern diving and sonar equipment, those aren’t very useful skills.

Modern diving and sonar equipment is pretty useless. Human divers can only go so far down and are mostly used for recovering dead bodies.

As for our sonar equipment? The less said the better. Anything not in the hands of the military is useless. It took them 16 months to find the wreckage of Air France Flight 447 when they had clear flight tracking data and knew exactly where it went down.

They still haven't found Malaysian Airlines Flight 370.

I seriously cannot believe someone is defending him as if he were a real person.

He looks like a knockoff Chris Evans.

I'm still a little confused as to how its legal. Marvel is set in America, so is the Boys universe.

Homelander is Captain America.

Queen Maeve is Wonder Woman.

A-Train is The Flash.

The Deep is Aquaman.

Starlight is a alt-Christian version of Starfire.

I don't think he looks like Evans at all. At first I thought he looked way to old for the role- he looks more like a dad of a superhero- but his acting is fantastic. I haven't hated a character this much since Joffrey.

It was originally a comic series. They don't use exact characters, so it's legal. All forms of literature take inspiration from other sources, comics are no different.

To me it seems like the way he speaks and, to a lesser extent, his look is meant to be a Chris Pine knockoff

I like this analysis.

Are we going to disregard Deep’s sexual harassment and rape?

I already tried pointing that out. These !itches already decided he was cute and sympathetic.

It’s interesting that none of the female superhero are bad/evil.

Maeve is morally gray.

We haven’t really seen many female superheroes. Honestly most of the men aren’t “evil” either. Only Homelander has a psychotic killing streak.

I haven’t seen the show but some posters have mentioned rape by the male superheroes. I would consider that evil.

Not only are they evil in the super villain sense, they commit very realistic crimes against women.

Translucent spies on women in bathrooms.
A Train purposefully gave his GF a fatal overdose.
The Deep sexually assaulted women.

Not just women.

Stretch guy is no angel either. He literally preaches all the core tenants of a Christian faith and practices none of them while abhoring anyone who does.

Meanwhile he's in a club having sex with three guys and its pretty clear leading what he would call a 'hedonistic' lifestyle.

All the men are shit. And while the women don't seem to get their hands dirty, it doesn't absolve them either.

She's not a supe, but Stilwell was definitely evil. Not in a murderous way but she's manipulative, treats people like objects, and does what is best for the bottom line.

I think only one person thought that. I posted that he's a POS.
