| I am so freaking excited about this - I love Karl Urban and Antony Starr (remember Banshee? He is hot as hell!) |
I’m already in Episode 1! The special effects are AMAZING!! |
| I wish they had made Karl Urban stuff the accent. He's a New Zealander but he's done it plenty of times in his other films. |
| Why does Jack Quaid look so old? He's a cutie and only about 27 in real life but he looks so haggard, when before all the stuff happened to him... |
How old is he supposed to be? He looked his age to me. Too old to be sleeping at his dad’s house or sweeping up a RadioShack. |
Disagree. He looks his age to me. |
|
Jack Quaid is 27. He was actually perfect in this role as the boy-man who never left the nest.
Karl Urban did a great world-weary 47 too. Honestly I thought all the actors/actresses were age-appropriate and very good and their roles. Which I RARELY see. |
| So good. I love Karl Urban in everything, but this role seems written for him. |
| To me, Antony Star (Homelander) looks like the love child of Jason Bateman and Bradley Cooper. |
He looks like a knockoff Chris Evans. I'm still a little confused as to how its legal. Marvel is set in America, so is the Boys universe. Homelander is Captain America. Queen Maeve is Wonder Woman. A-Train is The Flash. The Deep is Aquaman. Starlight is a alt-Christian version of Starfire. |
Satire. |
I guess if Orville can get away with it, they can too. |
I don't think he looks like Evans at all. At first I thought he looked way to old for the role- he looks more like a dad of a superhero- but his acting is fantastic. I haven't hated a character this much since Joffrey. It was originally a comic series. They don't use exact characters, so it's legal. All forms of literature take inspiration from other sources, comics are no different. |
