Without the resident villians Thomas, Ashley and JT, this show is insipid and rambles along a road to nowhere. Adding Eliza was a small firecracker that quickly fizzled. Ashley’s cameo was ridiculous, scripted and played-out. The only thing that could save this show is possibly a storyline with Craig finding another girl or Naomi having second thoughts but Craig is showing a big side of crazy.
These cats make about 425k per season so many will just keep drifting and playing along without a “real” job, until it’s canceled

I think everything related to Craig is sad. He is spiraling and has something awful going on. He seems to have untreated adhd and is unexplained anger is probably related to that. It sounds like he makes terrible, impulsive decisions to boot. I wish he would get real help.

I agree. She was a breath of fresh air in the beginning but I'm sick of her constant opinions of what a man is. She is incredibly sexist and ignorant. I'm really disgusted by her trying to normalize the use of chew. The prevalance of mouth/neck cancers from the use of it is scary. These types of cancers are horrible.

Prior to last night's episode I didn't understand why some people think Metul is a jerk. After last night I can see why. Metul is treating her like she treated Craig. She didn’t like who Craig really was and was constantly harping on him and being an ass. And he just took it like a pitiful puppy. What goes around comes around. Metul will leave her like she left Craig.

Totally agree. He’s been really off this year. In past seasons he still seems so scatterbrained but he was at least calm and laid back. This season, something else is going on.

I know that Katherine’s addiction issues are not the responsibility of others. But I think it was so rude and heartless to make this a huge pot trip when they KNOW that is why Katherine lost custody. They are all supposed to be rallying around her and this is the trip they choose?

How does she have the money but a million dollar lot and build a house? Is it all family money? He is almost 50. Has he ever had a job?
Craig seems bipolar. Katherine has gained a bunch of weight and should also find something productive to do like finish college or get a job. It’s clear she is just waiting for another rich man to come along. She isn’t qualified for much else.
Madison is just a basic southern B, a dime a dozen. But with a kid out of wedlock at that age, not too many southern men are going to want to marry her. She also needs an older rich man who doesn’t want anymore kids but is willing to support hers. These are typical rich southern people.

I think Shep used his money for various real estate investments. That’s why Thomas said he gets “mailbox money” a few seasons ago. He also really seems to have a low key lifestyle outside of the property he buys. Unlike Katherine and her used Bentley...

I don’t see Katherine going to college and ever being a desk worker. She is still doing a fair bit of modeling and does a lot of social media work for Gwyn’s or whatever that store is called. I do think she needs to make better financial decisions.

It always bums me out when Naomie says she could never do better than him. Have some self-respect, girl! Also, I totally think they'll break up because she seems more enamored than he does.
