Southern charm of Charleston

I used to be obsessed with the show and could never ever miss it, to the point where I would even cancel plans if it was the night of Southern charm. This season is just so lackluster to me I am completely underwhelmed and wondering if there’s a company out there ?


As far as the guys I’m so tired of their Peter Pan syndrome and the fact that they do absolutely nothing, there’s nothing respectable about that. Cameron is getting on my last nerve because all I feel like all she does is complain about being a mother, not to mention she’s always alone and her husband is never present. If you didn’t know better you would assume she and Shep were together. Seems like she really does not enjoy being a mom but there’s something very disheartening about seeing her talk about it so often

If we could see more Pat I probably would be a lot more interested but so far I’m completely bored

Agree they are pretty boring this season. I’m glad Thomas is gone, but he brought the crazy though.

Naomi is still irritating this season. I don’t see her relationship making it for the long run.

He is so different than Craig. They are like polar opposites. He's like a classic Type A personality to me with a hefty dose of ego thrown in. He's not on much. What makes him seem like a jerk?

Craig is so painful to watch especially when he's talking about Naomi and how one day she'll regret that she walked away from the "best thing that ever happened to her". The self-awareness isn't high with that one.

I think Naomie is sooooo much more likeable this season. Why is her boyfriend a jerk? He and Cameron's husband are the only two with a real job ( except Chelsea). But this season is a snooze fest.

I agree. It jumped the shark. Even the cast members seem bored of the show! Or like they are just going through the motions or something.

I am am just guessing, but it’s possible that a lot of the footage they got was about Kathryn going for full custody. Thomas sued the show to stop them from referring to all of his legal issues, so they used very little of that.

They are going through the motions to make $425K per person per season. At this point, its obvious that they are in it for the money and nothing else.

I don't think Naomi's relationship will last. She is way too into him and he seems lukewarm towards her. She's desperate to marry an anesthesiologist, likely at Cameron's prodding. They way she talks about him on camera is just obsessive.

I'm Charleston born and bred and the guys on this show are like many I knew when I lived there. Charleston is a bastion of nepotism and people milking their name and connections for "prestige" and wealth. There's not much incentive to do better or work harder there because of the culture. I love going home to visit my family, but I'm glad I don't live there anymore. Yawn.

Totally agree. Last night when she saying Craig knows she’s going to marry Metul I was thinking, wait did we miss a proposal? Is her diamond so small we can’t see it?

She’s so over the top about the relationship that it’s not normal. She’s just trying to prove that she’s done with Craig since she was so nuts the last two seasons.
