If 1st yr grades were subpar, unreasonable to demand DC live on campus 2nd yr?

Wanting to live off campus because being in a dorm is uncool is not a mark of maturity, whatever OP considered subpar grades to be. I should know, that was me. It probably didn't make a difference regarding my GPA, since the school was small and a 20 min walk from my off campus home (with a roommate or two), but it also in some ways shielded me from realizing that my performance sucked since I could distract myself with pretend adulthood.
