The St James acquires FCV

The FCV parents are usually some of the loudest and most critical of everyone else. Were they all blind-sided? Strand there is no response.

They are now fairly close to Arlington. St James is only about 8 miles south.

Forget Arlington to ECNL. FCV switching back to ECNL makes more sense given its history, track record . . . and the fact that it would no longer be competing next door with Loudoun.

ECNL looking better and better-though it seems too late for any of these DA clubs to change their status for next year. I am sure they will all give it a year and see how it pans out.

I have said there was rumor about Arlington to ECNL. Still believe that. Close source told me. We shall see. Also, I had said FCV to ECNL possible. With FCV moving away from Loudoun makes it more likely to happen.

I remember someone on DCUM saying that if you don't like your current youth soccer options, then just wait a year because it constantly changes.

Today has been good evidence of that.

Aren't they moving right into BRYC's backyard? Does your source think that BRYC will partner with Metro United and move to DA, in that case? Oh, the madness.

That makes no sense. Too far apart. I doubt there's any further combinations, but if there were, you'd think it'd involve 2 of the 3: BRYC, Arlington and FCV

They certainly did say that in the long thread. Maybe they were full of sh*t---or even the coaches were last to know. Those kids will all be scrambling to find a new home at the 11th hour.

Yes, but that was before today's announcement. Parents need confirmation that DA teams will not be practicing in Springfield. Otherwise there will be spots suddenly open on the FCV DA teams.

They probably were having turf wars with Loudoun over field space. Why would they not practice at the St James consistently? It made it sound like the plan from their email!

It is liikely that Loudoun will start using Evergreen Sportsplex more often in my opinion
