It doesn’t mean these men are unreliable children. Let’s not be so extreme. I’m sure you have a quirk that needn’t be elevated to red flag status. I want clear communication and follow through in early dating as well. Sounds like OP handled it perfectly for her own situation/peace of mind. |
|
Any update, OP? Did he ever text you back?
I’m invested now!
|
So you might want to actually read the thread. |
Op here. No he did not. I went out with my friends instead. Gave a guy my number too and he's already asked me out on a proper date for next week. |
| That is awesome, OP! |
No it starts with A , but ends differently. His loss and my gain. |
Fingers crossed. |

And what did we learn here: there's no need to REMIND men about a date. If he hasn't contacted you to confirm exact place and time - he doesn't want to see you.
It's that simple. |
Sure if you want to take a passive role in your life. Op did fine and she got a date with another guy too. |
With a Y? |
I agree! To me confirming opens the door that you think there’s a chance he’ll flake. AS IF! Just be ready around the normal date time and be flirty and fun like guys pick you up on time all the time. Not like the last two guys you dated would either not show or would be 4 hours late. |
That's how most women think--like 12 year olds. |
My active role certainly won't be to chase men. |
Are you in a relationship? |
