Why would that be an issue? Needing 60 votes is only an issue when there is a threat of veto. The Republicans had what they needed, a simple majority.

In their two years in control of Congress, Republicans did not prioritize Trump’s border wall. They approved $1.6 billion for border security projects for fiscal 2018, but only a fraction of that was to be used for construction of a wall. They were willing to kick in another $1.6 billion for fiscal 2019, a fraction of what the project could ultimately cost.

Republicans only needed 51 votes to pass a bill for border wall funding. Trump wouldn't have vetoed it. The Republicans have no excuse. Wasn't a "crisis" for them then and therefore can't legitimately be one now.

There was $25billion in border security funding that was offered just this past December. Trump turned it down. Instead he opted for about $5bil. Not sure how that helps the border situation.

This. We need common sense immigration reform (guest worker program, better visa tracking (since that is the largest source of undocumented workers), DACA deal (with no amnesty for parents), common sense border security - especially at ports of entry) - not a wall.
