Nothing piecemeal, my dear.

You show up with a truck and declare: "Today I'm taking my stuff." And you do. Everything you want in one fell swoop. You put them where your sister can't get at them.

They will both be upset, because they seem like the type that's stupid enough to provoke massive retaliation and then play the victims. Too bad for them.

This seems a little extreme considering the mother is still alive and living in her home.

This! My sister took all my parents silver for "safe keeping" meanwhile we dealt with other BS. I only hope karma is real.

Silver isn’t worth much these days. When my MIL was downsizing she couldn’t get much for her silver or antiques.
