You are unpaid prostitute.

We are? I had no idea!

OP, are you 30? Because I think a lot of white liberal 30-year-olds are jealous of Lena Dunham, whether they like her or not.

Who wouldn't be jealous of a sister molesting racist scumbag, right? So much to be jealous of. Lena needs to retreat into whatever hole she's been in lately and stay there.

OMG. Soooooo funny.

She hit her creative peak like five years ago and she's been getting desperate ever since. She needs to beg some man for a baby because she's searching for a purpose - motherhood would calm her down and satisfy the biological maternal yearning.

LOL. Love it when people comment without reading the article and make themselves look even more stupid than usual.

1) I only watched Girls for Adam Driver and I am not sorry.

2) I have been watching Camping and like it, didn't know LD was involved or that the reviews have been terrible.

The first episode focused so heavily on how uptight Jennifer Garner’s character is that I didn’t bother with episode 2. She’s as difficult to watch as Hannah was in Girls. Does it get better after episode 1?

Uh, most of us are not obsessed with her. I watched Girls for the first season but I couldn't take it anymore - watching young people continually make bad choices. It was just too depressing.

As for Dunham herself, I think she is in serious need of boundaries. But mostly I never think of her at all these days.

The article was clearly written by someone ready to give Dunham all the rope she needs to hang herself and generate a million twitter hate-clicks. It pretty much makes clear that she's a teacher's pet and an old person's idea of a young person and not that relevant to those of us her own age.

Strangely, the article made me hate the author for doing exactly that - write a piece to get a million hate-clicks. It's gross. It would have been possible for her to focus on LD's vulnerability, or her illness (without being demeaning about it, as she was in very subtle ways), or the reasons why she's attacked in the culture, but instead she focused on stupid provocative things LD said, and just added to the existing narrative out there that LD is a pig.

Yeah, I decided I didn't need to even bother at that point either, Tina Fey is awesome.

I'm a white liberal who has never watched Lena Dunham or cared about her at all.

Think it's mostly younger white women who were interested (not this middle aged white woman.)

OP I don’t know anybody that’s interested in, much less obsessed with, that talentless blob of a human. Gross on so many levels.
