If you drive a pickup truck in the suburbs, why?

Easy - so they can put a mattress in the back and service the SUV moms who are complaining about why a guy needs a pick up truck!

Weirdest post ever. Also, real men drive trucks. Or Jeeps.
Anonymous
No, high school girls drive Jeeps paid for by Mommy and Daddy.

There's this weird hillbilly chic thing going around. All the private school boys like to drive these giant F-350 type trucks that I don't think have ever gone off road. The girls all drive Jeeps. Again, on road. Very odd.

So anyone not driving a prius or a civic is having a mid life crisis and trying to feel cool? You folks say the same thing about men who drive SUV's BMW's, Mercede's , Jeeps etc.

No not just a mid-life crises but anyone driving more car than they need is insecure about something.

HAHAHAHAHA

I drive a large SUV, and my children are grown. My husband also drives an SUV. We have many reasons for choosing them, none of which is because we are insecure.

My neighbor got a weekend home and the pickup truck is to haul a bunch of stuff around as they get settled in.

What are your reasons?

The liberal worldview is somewhat limited. It’s hard to imagine why everyone doesn’t drive a Prius!

I recently learned from a proud pickup truck driver that not only do real men drive trucks, but they also only wear baseball caps that have curved brims. You could call it a rant, actually. An angry rant about something that truly matters.

So remember, potential pickup truck drivers in the dc area, if you want to go whole hog don’t forget the hillbilly fascinator or you won’t pass in the Real Man world.

Yeah I find it pretty hilarious when a dude driving a pristine F350 with a luxury trim package hits the brakes hard to go over a pothole or the railroad tracks.

A real work truck I have much love for...and it has dirt and dings erc

Now this monstrosity is just crazy:

Love me some trucks. But I don’t like them in my hood.
So we have a strong HOA. No vans, no trucks. Park it in the common lot or your driveway and towed away it goes.

Now you can park on the county road. But in the common lot, bye bye truck.

You are just trying to discriminate against Blue Collar people that use trucks or vans for work, like carpenters or painters. You make me want to puke.

We camp and backpack and put our stuff in our car and haul it on our back.

I love the people who think they are macho and outdoorsy because they drive their Jeep on the beach or take it off-road. My 6 year old is strong enough to push down on a gas pedal.

Get bent.
